Writing With Modal Verbs

Students practice writing with modal verbs in this open-ended grammar worksheet for fourth graders! Modal verbs are helping verbs that express certain conditions. Some common examples of modal verbs include can, should, may, and might. This one-page parts of speech worksheet begins with a definition and examples of common modal verbs. Then students are invited to write six original sentences using modal verbs such as will and must.
