Writing for a Reader #3

Students learn to recognize how they can write with a certain reader, or audience, in mind, in this hands-on worksheet. Children read two sample situations, then consider the context and the audience before drafting their arguments and a short persuasive paragraph. Designed for fourth graders, this worksheet offers students real-life scenarios with which to practice identifying a main idea with supporting evidence for a target audience.
