Write Multiplication Expressions Using Exponents #1
Exponents represent numbers multiplied by themselves any number of times. Practice writing them with this helpful sixth-grade worksheet! Learners will be presented with 20 multiplication expressions showing a number up to 12 multiplied by itself a number of times. Students will need to rewrite the expression as a base number with an exponent.
This worksheet is designed to introduce students to the concept of exponents and help them better understand what exponents mean. Students do not need to evaluate exponents in this worksheet, so they can instead focus on learning how exponents are connected to repeated multiplication.
