Word Search: Compound Words #3

What do blueberries, firefighters, and birthdays all have in common? They’re all compound words, of course! In this worksheet, students will need to identify all of the compound words in a set of words. Then, they’ll find those compound words in the word search. As a bonus activity, learners will be asked to form a new compound word by combining the first part of one word and the second part of another word from the puzzle!

Second and third graders can have fun completing this engaging vocabulary worksheet! They’ll solidify their knowledge of compound words while improving their vocabulary, reading comprehension, and spelling skills. Try using this worksheet as extra practice for students who are already familiar with compound words.
