Worksheet

When Would It Happen? A.M. or P.M.

Does it make sense to do your homework at 3:00 a.m.? What about going to soccer practice at 4:30 p.m.? Test your time-telling abilities with this written-response worksheet! In each problem, students are presented with a scenario and two proposed times for it to occur: one in the a.m. and one in the p.m. Learners must choose whether the event is more likely to happen in the a.m. or p.m., then explain their decision.

Created for a second-grade curriculum, this worksheet will strengthen students’ time-telling skills and prepare them to calculate elapsed time. Students can also build their logical reasoning abilities as they explain their answers in each question.
