Wh Words

Who, what, where, when, and why? Those are the questions! Third graders practice using these five important question words on this reading and writing worksheet.

Using context clues from the 12 incomplete sentences, students will identify which wh- question word from the word bank completes each sentence. Some sentences have one blank line, while others have two. Each question word will be used more than once. This worksheet also serves as handwriting practice and consonant digraph practice.
