'We Are Peacemakers' Banner

As humans, we all want to feel peace, and we all want to feel that we belong! Using this social emotional worksheet as a guide, students will create a triangular piece of art that illustrates and represents peace. All students’ triangles will be collected and displayed on a classwide ‘We Are Peacemakers’ banner. Then, students will reflect on mindfulness and how it feels to send peaceful thoughts to themselves and others. This worksheet is a great resource to increase second and third graders’ social and self-awareness, as well as developing their mindfulness of emotions.
