Water Cycle Diagram

How do clouds form? Why does it rain? First graders and second graders answer these questions (and more!) by completing this water cycle worksheet.

Students start with a simple image of a landscape with arrows pointing in the direction of each step in the water cycle. Students will read a description of part of the water cycle at the bottom of the page. Then, they’ll draw a picture of that step on the landscape image in the appropriate place. The four steps students will draw are evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and storage.

Reinforce this information with The Water Cycle interactive worksheet, where students have to copy icons for each step.
