Using a Hundred Chart: More or Less #1

Learn to navigate a hundred chart with this first-grade worksheet! Students are asked to find numbers on a hundred chart and write down the surrounding squares. From the base number, learners will subtract one, add one, subtract 10, and add 10.

Hundred charts serve to be a visual aid for addition within 100 and subtraction within 90. Students will also be able to begin picking up on number patterns as they search for numbers and fill in the blanks on this worksheet. Familiarity with a hundred chart will be beneficial as students begin double-digit addition and subtraction.

This worksheet is the first in a series of three. Keep the learning going with Using a Hundred Chart: More or Less #2. If students are ready to start adding, check out the Add Ten Using a Hundred Chart worksheet!
