Use Equal Groups to Show Division: Write an Equation #2

Hone your division skills with this essential worksheet! Each of these eight problems includes a visual model showing a number of equal groups of shapes. Students will be asked to use these models to write a representative equation. These problems include dividends under 50, and each has two possible solutions that students can write.

Designed for third graders, this worksheet is a great choice for giving students a visual understanding of what division is and how it works. This activity can reinforce the connections between division and equal groups and division and multiplication, giving them a better understanding of all of these concepts.
