Worksheet

Types of Resources

Introduce students to the different types of resources in the economy with this helpful worksheet! Students will first read an introduction to the three main resource types: natural resources come directly from nature, human resources are people who make a good or service, and capital resources are goods that help make other goods or services. Then, learners will sort a list of resources based on whether they are natural, human, or capital resources.

This worksheet is designed to introduce second and third graders to a basic economic concept. Learning the difference between types of resources can help students understand more complex concepts as they continue to learn about money and the economy.
