Worksheet
Time Twister: Practice With A.M. and P.M.
Look at the time! It’s just the right moment to learn about a.m. and p.m. and practice reading time on a digital clock! In each of these 12 problems, students will be presented with an activity and a corresponding time on a 12-hour clock. Learners will need to decide whether someone would be more likely to do that activity in the a.m. or the p.m. At the end, learners will use their answers to reveal a tongue twister!
Designed for second graders, this worksheet gives students practice reading and interpreting times on digital clocks. Students can use their logical reasoning to determine when activities are likely to happen based on what they know about a.m. and p.m. on the 12-hour clock—valuable skills for students both inside and outside the classroom.
