Three Ways to Multiply

There’s more than one way to multiply! Teach fourth graders and fifth graders different multiplication strategies with this math practice worksheet.

The worksheet shows demonstrations using pictures, charts, and equations of three different multi-digit multiplication strategies. Then, students are asked to solve a multiplication problem using each strategy and showing all their work. The first strategy is for base ten arrays. The second strategy is an area model. The third strategy is for finding partial products.
