Thanksgiving Nouns #1

Can you find all of the nouns in this sentence? Learn to identify nouns with this festive worksheet! In part one, students will read a series of sentences about a Thanksgiving meal. They will need to underline all of the nouns in each sentence. If they’re having trouble, a definition at the top of the page reminds them that nouns are words that represent people, places, things, and ideas. In part two, students will write two Thanksgiving-themed sentences and circle all of the nouns in both. 

This worksheet is perfect for teaching second and third graders about nouns while also celebrating a holiday recognized in the US, Canada, and beyond! While completing this worksheet, students can improve their understanding of grammar and the function of nouns in sentences.
