Spring Word Sort: Short and Long Vowels #2

Nurture your students’ phonics knowledge this spring with this engaging short and long vowel sort! The second in a series of three, this cloud-themed phonics worksheet features 14 unique words containing a variety of short and long vowel spelling patterns. Learners will need to determine if each word has a long vowel sound or a short vowel sound. As they read the words in each spring cloud, students will use purple to color the clouds containing short vowel sounds, and yellow to color the clouds containing long vowel sounds.
