Worksheet
Spring Personification
Let spring blossoms teach you a lesson on personification in this cheery worksheet! Learners will be presented with three sentences that personify nonhuman objects. They will need to underline the personification in each sentence, explain its figurative meaning, then draw a picture to show the literal meaning of the sentence.
This worksheet is great practice for fourth, fifth, and sixth graders who are learning about different figurative language and how they are used in sentences. Students will practice extracting the meaning from figurative language and separating literal meaning from the action or feeling personification is meant to show.
