Sorting Representations of Linear Functions

Students identify and connect different representations of linear functions with this hands-on sorting activity! Geared toward eighth graders, this unique math activity features six cards containing graphs, six cards containing tables, and six cards containing linear equations in slope-intercept form. As learners cut out the cards and group them by matching functions, they will practice making meaningful connections among different representations of linear functions. As a warm-up, have students complete Match the Graphs to the Linear Equations and Match the Tables to the Linear Equations. Be sure to print this worksheet single-sided to make it easier for students to complete!
