Worksheet
Singular Nouns to Plural Nouns
The more, the merrier! Second graders practice turning singular nouns into plural nouns on this grammar and writing worksheet.
Students practice adding “-s” or “-es” to singular regular nouns to make them plural. There are 12 words to transform: apple, brush, tent, watch, pig, bee, fox, ball, sandwich, ax, house, and tomato. Then, students read a tip about which words that end in O need “-es” to become plural and practice writing the plural form of tomato and potato.
Advance to the next skill of turning singular irregular nouns into plural nouns with the List of Irregular Plural Nouns worksheet.
