Side Lengths and Angle Measures of Congruent Figures #1

Find missing angles and side lengths in this tricky geometry worksheet! In these six problems, students will be shown two congruent shapes with some side lengths and angle measures given. They will be asked to find the value of an angle measure or side length of one of the shapes using what the measurements in the congruent shape. 

Use this worksheet to help eighth graders learn about congruence in geometry! They will need to understand that congruent shapes will still be congruent, even if they are rotated or moved. This worksheet can help students solidify their knowledge of congruent shapes lining up exactly, with corresponding, equal side lengths and angle measures. In addition, these problems can improve students’ understanding of the way figures, angles, and sides are named.
