Rounding: Sweet Estimation

Round ‘em up, or round ‘em down—either way, estimation is the name of the game! Students in third grade show off what they know about rounding to the nearest hundred on this sweet math worksheet.

Learners complete 15 three-digit addition problems using number sense and estimation skills. To start, students round both three-digit numbers in an addition problem to the nearest hundred. Then, they add both rounded numbers to get an estimated solution to the addition problem.
