Round Up or Down? Rounding to the Nearest Thousand

Round numbers to the nearest thousand with this inviting worksheet! In each of these problems, students will be presented with a four-digit number that they will need to round to the thousands place. They will be asked to write the two thousands that each number falls in between. Finally, students will circle the thousand that the number is closest to. 

Use this worksheet to help fourth graders conceptualize and solve rounding problems!
