Reflective Writing Prompt: Christmas

Encourage students to think deeply about the season of giving with this reflective writing prompt. Learners will first read a paragraph about the history and meaning of Christmas. Then, students are prompted to write about special gifts that have brought love, peace, joy, or hope. Students can think outside of the box to complete the prompt, as not all gifts are objects!

This reflective writing prompt will inspire fourth through eighth graders to think deeper about their experiences and emotions. Reflecting on personal experiences, especially during the holidays, can encourage critical thinking, self-awareness, and a community mindset.
