Can you spot the root words? Use this short story to help fifth- and sixth-grade learners practice identifying root words in context. In Read & Find Root Words #1, students will read the story and underline words that contain the root words "son" and "sect." Then they'll be asked to use the context clues from the reading to determine the meaning of the root words.
