Rainbow Factors #2

Practice with prime and composite numbers in this colorful fourth-grade worksheet! In each of these six problems, students will be given a two-digit number. They will need to fill in the blanks with the factor pairs of the number, then decide whether the number is prime or composite. 

This worksheet is a great way to reinforce the definitions of prime and composite numbers for young mathematicians. Students can also work on recalling multiplication facts as they find as many factor pairs as they can for each number. These skills can prepare students to learn about concepts like greatest common factors and least common multiples.
