Picture Sequencing

Picture this: Your story is all mixed up! Challenge third graders to correctly sequence a short story on this reading comprehension strategies worksheet.

Students need to put the six pictures provided in the correct order starting with what happened first and ending with what happened last. To do that, they number each picture by placing a number from 1-6 in the empty square. The picture labeled with number one is the beginning of the story, and the picture labeled with number six is the end. Once the pictures are ordered, students write 2-3 sentences about each picture on the provided lines.
