Perseverance in Challenging Times

Reflecting on role models who have persevered—kept going in spite of difficulties—is a valuable tool in promoting this positive trait in young people. With this social emotional learning worksheet, your child will be guided to research and reflect on one person who has persevered—this could be someone they know, a famous person, or a historical figure. They will then create a slideshow or poster that defines and illustrates perseverance. This worksheet can be used on its own or in conjunction with the activity Role Models of Perseverance.
