Worksheet

Perimeter of Semicircles #3

Practice finding perimeters of partial circles with this engaging geometry worksheet! These eight problems each ask students to find the perimeter of a semicircle given only the radius. Learners will need to use the modified circumference formula in the introduction, which accounts for the missing half of the circle and the length of the diameter, which is now a side of the shape.

Intended for a seventh-grade curriculum, this worksheet is a great way to expand on students’ ability to find the circumference of a circle and challenge them to apply new and modified formulas. These problems can prepare students to adapt their geometry knowledge to solve real-world problems involving partial circles.

Don’t miss the previous two worksheets in this series: Perimeter of Semicircles #1 and Perimeter of Semicircles #2. For even more practice, try Perimeter of Quarter Circles #1.
