Parts of Speech Review: Possessive Pronouns

Invite students to review the role of possessive pronouns with this grammar worksheet! Possessive pronouns show ownership. Some possessive pronouns come before a noun, such as my, your, his, her, its, our, and their. Sometimes they appear without a noun, such as mine, yours, his, hers, its, ours, and theirs.

After reviewing possessive pronouns and examples, learners will put this skill into practice by first circling the possessive pronouns used in each of six sentences. Then, students will use possessive pronouns to correctly complete another set of six sentences.

Ideal for upper elementary school students, this worksheet is a great way to review parts of speech and boost grammar confidence. For more practice with pronouns, check out the Pronoun-Antecedent Agreement Maze and Parts of Speech Review: Personal Pronouns worksheets.
