Worksheet
Parts of Speech Review: Personal Pronouns
Use this helpful worksheet to review personal pronouns with your fourth and fifth graders! A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun or noun phrase. Singular personal pronouns, such as I, you, he, she, it, me, him, and her, take the place of singular nouns. Plural personal pronouns, such as we, you, they, us, and them, take the place of plural nouns. Students will begin with a review of these pronouns and a few examples. Then learners will practice by first circling the personal pronouns used in each of five sentences, and then replacing an underlined noun or noun phrase with the best personal pronoun based on the sentence context.
Perfect for upper elementary school students, this worksheet is a great way to review parts of speech and boost grammar confidence. Get more pronoun practice with the Pick a Pronoun worksheet, or review possessive pronouns with the Parts of Speech Review: Possessive Pronouns worksheet.
