Parallel and Perpendicular Lines: Cut and Paste

Sort parallel and perpendicular lines with this fun cut-and-paste activity! Students will be asked to cut out eight sets of lines and then paste each set into the correct category to show whether the set is parallel or perpendicular.

With a variety of different line orientations, this activity is a great way to help learners recognize parallel and perpendicular lines no matter what they might look like. This early geometry worksheet can give second and third graders a strong foundation in an important geometry concept that will help them as they move on to more advanced geometry later on.
