Novel Study: The Giver: Playlist for Jonas

Engage readers with an exciting musical extension activity after they've finished reading The Giver by Lois Lowry! Part of the novel study unit for The Giver, this three-page worksheet is designed for seventh- and eighth-grade readers to connect with the text and reflect on one of the themes of the book. In order to welcome Jonas to the place where he and Gabe go at the end of the book, students will create a playlist of 10 songs to introduce Jonas to music.
