Multiplying by 10, 100, or 1,000!

Multiplying any number by 10, 100, or 1,000 will be easy for your third graders once they learn the trick! This worksheet will give them the knowledge they need to master this type of multiplication. All they need to know is that any time a number is multiplied by 10, a zero will need to be added at the end of the original number. Multiplying by 100, just add two zeros at the end, and for 1,000, add three zeros!
