Multiply Fractions Using Models

Practice a useful strategy for multiplying fractions with this colorful worksheet! In each of eight problems, students will be presented with a fraction multiplication equation. The equation will also be represented by an area model shaded with two different colors, representing the two different factors. Students will use the visual model and their knowledge of fraction multiplication to determine the product of each equation.
