Multiply & Match: Strip Models #3

Master multiplication in this matching worksheet for third graders! Learners will be asked to first use each strip model to multiply and find the product. They will fill in the blanks to finish the strip models and the corresponding equation. Then, they’ll match up each number sentence in the left column with the sentence in the right column that multiplies the same two numbers. 

This worksheet is a great way for students to associate visual models with the more abstract number sentences. It also reinforces the fact that the factors in a multiplication equation can be in any order, and the product will stay the same—the Commutative Property of Multiplication
