Multiplication Strategy Shake Up

There are lots of ways to solve multiplication problems! Practice some of them with this inviting worksheet. The introduction provides learners with examples of four strategies, including skip counting, drawing pictures, repeated addition, and number lines. Students will need to use each strategy once to solve four one-digit multiplication problems.

This third-grade worksheet is a great choice to help students recognize the different methods they can use to solve the same problem. Not all students will find the same strategies to be helpful, so it is important that they know all of their options for solving multiplication problems. The different methods can also help students better understand how multiplication works so that they can become intentional and strategic multipliers.
