Missing Sight Words

These sight words are really bugging out! In this fill-in-the-blank worksheet, first graders decide which missing sight word fits in each simple sentence.

The worksheet includes 14 incomplete sentences and 14 fireflies, each with a sight word on its belly. By choosing the correct word that completes each sentence, beginning readers start to become familiar with high-frequency words and how to use them in reading and writing.
