Worksheet

Match Numbers and Names: Up to 100,000

Identify the names of numbers in the tens of thousands in this colorful worksheet! Learners will be asked to read 10 five-digit numerals in one column and 10 number names in a second column. They’ll need to use what they know about place value and the different parts of number names to correctly match each numeral to its corresponding word form.

This worksheet is a great choice for helping third and fourth graders strengthen their understanding of word form and better recognize patterns of place value. Students can also practice close reading as they think about the different parts of each number name.
