Make Equivalent Fractions Using Models #1

Explore equivalent fractions using models with this inviting math worksheet! In this engaging worksheet, third-grade learners will enhance their understanding of equivalent fractions by creating equivalent area model pairs and determining the fractions for each model. In each of six problems, students will first color in the empty shape model to make a fraction that is equivalent to the given model. Then, using the template provided, learners will write the equivalent fractions.

Using models to represent equivalent fractions helps learners to develop a deeper understanding of what fractions represent.
