1 Minute Math: Subtraction

Give math skills a workout with this race against the clock! In this worksheet, students will be asked to set a timer for one minute, then solve as many of the 48 subtraction problems as they can before time runs out. They can record their score once they have finished. This worksheet contains problems with minuends up to 20. 

This resource is intended to help second graders build automaticity and subtraction fact fluency. It can also assess their speed and accuracy as they gain experience and confidence with subtraction.
