Learning Symmetry: Owl

Learning symmetry can be a hoot when it features an adorable owl! Using the grid provided, second and third graders are asked to draw a mirror image of the owl’s left side on the blank side of the axis.

This worksheet introduces early geometry skills by using shapes and lines, reflection and rotation, to lay the foundation for more advanced geometry concepts. After they’re done, they can color in the owl!
