Students will read each of these 14 sentences, then identify and circle the indefinite pronoun in each.
Designed for fourth and fifth graders, this worksheet is perfect for students who already have a grasp on personal and possessive pronouns and can move on to more advanced grammar concepts. These sentences include both common, easily identifiable indefinite pronouns as well as some examples that might be a bit trickier, such as the words both, none, and either used as pronouns. It is important that students develop a strong understanding of language conventions, including indefinite pronouns, so they are supported in their future reading and writing growth.
