Identify Pronouns: Write the Room

Explore the room and search for pronouns in this engaging grammar activity! First graders will identify and write pronouns based off of sentences placed around the classroom. To set up for this activity, an adult will need to post the clue cards on the second page in different locations around the room. Each student will receive a copy of the worksheet on the first page, but the clue cards only need to be printed once. The cards can be laminated for repeated use if desired.

A “write the room” activity like this one is a great way to get students learning in a different way. Movement can help keep young learners engaged as they search the room for each card!
