Worksheet

Identify Natural, Human, and Capital Resources

Learn about the three main types of resources in this informative economics worksheet! Students will first read through an introduction that explains the different resource types. Natural resources, such as oil, come directly from nature; human resources are people who produce a good or service; capital resources are goods that help produce other goods or services. Then, students will consider a set of examples and identify the natural, human, and capital resources in each.

Intended for fourth and fifth graders, this worksheet is a great choice for introducing students to an important aspect of economics. A strong understanding of the different types of resources sets students up to learn about the supply chain in more detail and better interpret information about the economy.
