How Many Sounds Do You Hear?

This worksheet teaches kindergarteners early spelling skills by teaching them to stretch words so that each sound can be heard. Kids have the opportunity to choose a word and write it in the sun, then count how many different sounds they hear. An example at the beginning of the worksheet guides kids with this exercise.
