Homophones Word Search #1

Don’t let homophones be a hole in your vocabulary knowledge; instead, have a whole lot of fun tracking down homophone pairs! For each of the 10 word clues in this worksheet, students will find and color in the matching homophone in the word search. 

This worksheet is a good resource for challenging fourth and fifth graders to call on their existing vocabulary and knowledge of homophones. Learners can practice identifying the different spellings of words in a homophone pair. A strong understanding of homophones can improve students’ spelling and reading comprehension.
