Homework Opinion Writing

Challenge your students to form a well-reasoned argument with this writing prompt (and rubric!) that's sure to evoke some strong opinions. First students will think about how much homework second graders should be given while they fill out the pre-writing planner. Having written their outline, they can use the second page to write their opinion essay.
