Helping Verbs: Correct or Incorrect #3

Help students learn helping verbs with this third-grade grammar worksheet! In each of these eight questions, students will read a sentence that includes a helping verb, some of which are used incorrectly. Students will need to decide whether the right helping verb was used and, if not, write the correct verb. 

This worksheet is intended to support students as they learn about the function and placement of helping verbs in a sentence. There are many different helping verbs, and their usage depends on factors like which tense the sentence is in and whether the subject is plural or singular. This worksheet gives students practice that can solidify their understanding of which helping verbs are used when.
