They will need to decide whether the helping verb is used correctly. If not, they will need to write the helping verb that does correctly complete the sentence. 

Use this worksheet to give third graders a chance to practice using helping verbs correctly and intentionally. While many students already use the correct helping verbs habitually, this practice can draw attention to how helping verbs function in sentences and help students understand when each helping verb should be used.
