Food Chains

Have fun learning about food chains in this charming science worksheet! Students will first read an introduction that tells them about producers and three types of consumers: primary, secondary, and tertiary. Then, learners will match organisms to the food chain term that describes them. Finally, they’ll answer two questions about how a change in one animal population might affect another animal population. 

This worksheet was designed for fourth and fifth graders learning about the interactions between producers and consumers in an ecosystem.
