Follow the Path: Abstract Nouns #1

Help students differentiate between concrete and abstract nouns with this engaging maze activity! Tailored for third- and fourth-grade learners, this maze begins with an overview of how concrete and abstract nouns differ. Then students are invited to demonstrate their understanding as they embark on a unique maze in which they will need to follow the path of abstract nouns—avoiding the concrete nouns—in order to make their way from beginning to end. As students navigate their way through the maze, they will gather letters that will reveal a mystery phrase at the end!
